NOTE: HYDRO POTS ARE DISHWASHER SAFE FOR CLEANING, EITHER TOP OR BOTTOM SHELF. YOU CAN ALSO BLEACH THE INSIDE IF NEEDED WITH PURE BLEACH. ALSO..THE WICKS ARE A COMBINATION OF BOTH POLYESTER AND COTTON AND CAN BE PLACED INTO A BOWL OF PURE BLEACH OVER NIGHT TO RETURN TO NEW AND REUSED.
These wonderful pots were designed to meet your needs and have the following features:
- Semi opaque white exterior. Light will partially show through so you know when to fill the resevoir
- Black interior is glossy for easy clean of salt residue and rusting issues
- Vents on bottom keep condensation from under the pot which can ruin furniture
- Basket has slits around the outside for air to the roots, again helping to keep from over watering your plants
- Baskets also have several holes in the bottom if you need multiple wicks
- Black basket extends slightly past the lower pot for easy access
- Twice the capacity for water as the standard Oyama Planters
- Each pot comes with a wick so you are ready to plant
